I don't mean to sound funny here but what is the protest aimed at directly?
Just remember that Blackpool, Charlton have both publicly protested against the owners of their clubs imaginatively but the owners are still there and the sympathy for the supporters has just dissipated.
If a protest can be carried out with a true meaning as to why and one that just wouldn't look comical making us all look a laughing stock then lots more supporters may just join in. But at the moment whilst people just want to go around shouting "Chris Turner out" and chanting against the "Sheffield mafia" then they're just gonna make our supporters look like tw*ts! This has GOT to be done right, with one agenda and NOT a handful of people throwing objects onto the pitch or tasteless name calling being shouted out.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

You're right, any protests have to be done in an organised, non-violent way.

I saw that you used the example of the Oyston family and how the protests have not made a difference in Blackpool. Well the Oystons are truly evil, and their aim is to destroy the football club by taking every penny out of it. Dave Allen isn't evil, and protests on a large scale will more likely than not have an effect on him. Remember when Wednesday fans protested against him? He was out in a flash.

Rolling turnips onto the pitch and the #PantsOnHeadProtest are both my (semi-serious) ideas.

Maybe just a quick vote needed on which to implement first.

Bring in the Turnipes!!!

Don't turn up for the Blades match. A ground devoid of home support for Uncy Daves derby.

It's on telly anyway, so ST holders aren't really losing out. Lets face it, they'll panel us anyway; it was bad enough last year.

I'll be watching on TV

Protest outside the ground from an hour before the game and the cameras will lap it up,and don't go in till ten minutes after ko, also don't spend any money on beer and pies.

everyone outside, no one inside. An empty stadium is the only thing that makes them take notice.

How about everyone coming in 10 or so minutes late, a half empty ground at the start doesn't look very pleasant to the TV audience.

A protest outside the West stand aimed at the numpties in charge (charge said in a very loose sense of the word)

Cameras will be outside the ground.

Any banners should be behind the goals - there should be plenty of camera shots when united are kicking towards our kop.

The over riding protest should be to stay away.
God I hate this league.

Maybe all the fans inside the ground to a man, should point at the directors box and sing " Your fault not ours, your fault not ours ".....................

Disagree

1 game where there should be a concerted effort to get everyone to stay away. Get it on social media and the airwaves.

TV game is ideal, if you want to watch the game sit in the pub.

Agree mate, but some people will still be in the ground whatever, so they might as well make themselves useful an give the directors box some stick :)

You'd better ask Jeremy Corbyn for some advice...

Just read the pathetic fans quote from Allen. I'm staying away from the Blades game now and urge all fellow pathetic town fans to do the same for this match. Post it to all friends on Facebook Twitter etc. Ill watch the game in the Boythorpe and give my and my lads ticket money to the landlord who knows how to treat his customers!!😡😡

You could call the campaign " Boost Chesterfields economy, watch the United game in a pub " Am sure the local landlords would relish this, might even put on a few chip butties :) ?

Its no use asking fans not to go because most will go including me especially as its Sheffield United. the best thing to do is have a protest before match outside.then have one on the pitch at half time with cameras there it will be embarrassing for the powers that be.
