A cynic might argue that he could be playing with words Mark. If CT paid somebody (IF) then AC hasn't paid anybody has he.

Him personally probably not.

But what about CFC? The same CFC we were repeatedly told was separate from the CFCFDS yet turned out to be anything but?

And can you ask him how he's going on retrieving his alleged loan and the CCJ money paid by the Club, 'M'?

Thanks Moondog. I retain a genuine glimmer of hope that we can sort this out whilst Ashley continues to take an interest in our posts, albeit from distance.

Sutcliffe persuaded somebody to pay the Liquidator £7k at the last minute to stop him pulling the plug on our meeting on 1/3/17. If Ashley denied knowing who coughed up, I wouldn't believe him.

For Ashley to claim that a company that paid cash to CFC employees, probably in breach of EFL rules, and was run for months by the former CFC CEO is nowt to do with him is ludicrous. Has he not made the effort to ascertain what happened?

Will do, I'd already asked one of those questions about the loan and was told he's taking £25k off CT

Be interested how he's gonna do that, 'M'.

Sue him, perhaps? A potentially costly and embarrassing court case?

I wouldn't be surprised if Turner will continue to receive commission on sales he supervised for as long as they generate income for CFC. As well as that, the accounts showed he is owed money.

Which rather contradicts an earlier assertion of his that I'm sure I've seen on Bob's Board, to the effect that repayment of his loan was part of the "Heads of Terms" of the agreement with FBT! Of course, quite how he was in any position to influence an agreement between two different companies that he had no control over, is anyone's guess!

Whilst he's in a communicative mood, could you please ask Ashley what the current monthly non football staff costs are? I'd like to compare the number to that given when Turner was in office.
Obviously if Turner was counted as non football, then Guy Branston should be shoved in the same bucket. Their job specs are identical.

RPI are no more!

The Ad Boards at the back of the East Stand has finally been removed!

I wonder who benefitted most from the arrangement.......

Won't it be ironic if Liam G is offered a contract. I hope he is. He's a nice guy, a trier, and is versatile. A good squad man.

But wouldn't that be kinda awkward given Carson's pledge to reveal associated agents and fees?

Some may have seen this coming from the day that the old CFC International Academy was set up, but it has taken a while.

Parents of kids still in the FBT Academy setup are being told that their "Centre of Excellence" is being closed down with immediate effect. The six age group teams between U9 and U14 are being disbanded. A good proportion of their kids had probably already left for the Trust's new Emerging Talent Centre, but there will be some left temporarily without a team - hopefully the other junior clubs in the area can take up the slack. The u-15 and u-16 age groups are being retained for now, and assimilated into the International Academy set-up.

I suppose this stands as confirmation to all those who thought that the original CFC FDS model was poorly thought-out and unsustainable, even before the shortcomings of those at the very top became apparent.

Let's hope parents are not due any refunds for, say, a proposed tour that now must be cancelled.

Does being over the border in Welsh Wales mean anything to Newport being the chosen partner.
God I hate this league.
