Steady if unspectacular appointment...knows the championship and experienced which is what they need compared to a Giggs or Kevin Philips type appointment or some of the others flying around as being options. Could do a lot worse if we're honest plus they need to get someone in and get going this pre-season or it'll be the same as last season where most of the transfer window had gone before the manager situation was sorted after the FA dicked them about with Allardyce.
