Biggs just been tweeting that Wilder could be in the running now although apparently he was recommended by Allardyce as the person to take over at Palace after he left.

If Biggsy has tweeted it it must be true <<rolls eyes and psses himself>>

I see this as a step down. Probably a massive pay rise though I suppose. Are they mates already?

Edit: just googled it and yeah - a massive pay rise and they started their coaching careers at west brom together.

They also just bidded on a Scottish defender for £350k!!

That'll never fly. He'd just be Whinging it.
These go to eleven.

Frank Lampard is 22/1 apparently!

Lampards odd to be next Oxford manager took a tumble this evening after Sky claimed he'd already been spoken to about the vacant managers position there.

Pep Clotet is currently odds on favourite.

What could go wrong ... what with his extensive knowledge and experience of League 1 and everything .. If I supported Oxford United I would be vastly underwhelmed ....(with

this notion not generally being an Oxford Fan )

Grayson is now 1/10 with Skybet

Given what happened with McInnes, might be time to take some of the value with some of the other candidates lol

Phillips who was odds on at one point, is currently 16/1

Steady if unspectacular appointment...knows the championship and experienced which is what they need compared to a Giggs or Kevin Philips type appointment or some of the others flying around as being options. Could do a lot worse if we're honest plus they need to get someone in and get going this pre-season or it'll be the same as last season where most of the transfer window had gone before the manager situation was sorted after the FA dicked them about with Allardyce.

Grayson appointed at Sunderland, Uwe Rosler 7/4 favourite for his Preston job.

Gerrard and Giggs both in the top ten, too!

I wonder if Moyes fancies going back where it all began?

Billy Davies must be about due another long contract now Forest have eventually finished paying him off. He's a Preston man isn't he?

His accent suggests not - he's a Weegie, though he did manage Preston before. His constant demands for transfer funds remind me of a little fledgling bird in a nest .

Alex Neil crashed in to 1/8 favourite after he's spotted with PNE advisor, Peter Ridsdale.

Non-league minnows Leyton Orient appoint former Crewe boss who seemed to be universally dismissed as rubbish by Alex fans, on two-week deal:

These go to eleven.
