You’ve had it as bad as we have. Good luck to you

I run a Stockport-based website, that has loads of Stockport County content, as I'm a County fan myself!

1) Best moment of last season? Chorley away, my son finally got to see us win away, only took 10 yrs, we celebrated in Manchester after the game.
2) Worst moment of last season? Seeing the fans and players argueing with each other after games
3) COVID finishing the season early - good or bad for your club? Good, tho I do think we would have stayed up.
4) Which team do you most want to beat this season? Notts County, they still think they don't belong in this league, their down here for the same reason as the rest of us...
5) If restrictions have been lifted, what indoor places are good for Stockport fans to check out in Chesterfield? Derby tup,and beer parlour. Proper ale.
6) If restrictions haven't been lifted, what outdoor places are good for Stockport fans to check out in Chesterfield? Stay at home.
7) What are your thoughts on Stockport County - the team, the club, the manager, the town, the fans etc? Hope ya not spending beyond ya means, you already know what its like when it goes wrong, dont go there again...
8) Realistically, how do you think you'll do this season? Another season in the lower half of the table.

1) Best moment of last season? A real struggle this one. Looking back in hindsight Tysons second half hat-trick v Ebbsfleet was the most enjoyable football I have seen, and the first time we've blown someone away for some time.
2) Worst moment of last season? Pretty much the rest of it, I think looking around the ground where we once had 8,9,10000 in a few seasons back to see only 3000 is a pretty depressing site showing how far we have fallen.
3) COVID finishing the season early - good or bad for your club? Good, we may have gone down if not. That point at Dover in the last game kept us up.
4) Which team do you most want to beat this season? As long as we finish above 3 others (poor Macclesfield) - i'd probably be happy. This seasons is all about survival on and off the field.
5) If restrictions have been lifted, what indoor places are good for Stockport fans to check out in Chesterfield? There's a few good pubs in the town centre now - Market Place, Beer Parlour, Pump & Grind, Einstein's, Chesterfield Arms
6) If restrictions haven't been lifted, what outdoor places are good for Stockport fans to check out in Chesterfield? Would recommend a crate of beer and Queens PArk if the weathers good. Those were the days.
7) What are your thoughts on Stockport County - the team, the club, the manager, the town, the fans etc? Seem to have spent some money this year and are going for it. Might be risky given the current climate if you don't go up. Obviously a big club at this level like ourselves so should be looking to get back into the FL as soon as possible. My main thoughts on the town are how long the A6 goes from the town centre to Disley when coming over the Peaks. That road goes on forever.
8) Realistically, how do you think you'll do this season? I think we will struggle, we have re-signed many from last season when we struggled and given our poor pre season I have no reason to think we will be troubling the play offs. Lower midtable at best.
