It’s not. At least we are making a little bit out of it. Our priorities are cutting costs and tightening the ship, then we can look at what income we do/don’t want.

I agree we should bin them off, but only when we can afford too.

I reckon we’re losing money on it now. No friendly, no entrance money no tea/coffee sales. Not able to be predicted that way but that’s likely to be the case now.

If so they hopefully there is a get out clause or an opportunity to renegotiate.

Had hoped they’d paid us a flat fee to rent the stadium/cover costs + we keep anything from the food/drink with the PSF being the icing on the cake

Having said that, knowing our negotiation skills it wouldn’t suprise me if we’ve somehow lost money on what should have been a nice earner.

Yes things have changed and not in our favour. However knowing the deedahs to be upstanding citizens! can we expect them to 'see us rate'? and if so how?

Well Chris Wilder was saying the other day the premier league should help the lower leagues....

The priority is to maximise our income including any help we can get from Sheffield United. So far as I am concerned their money is as good as anybody elses. We are operating at the food bank level - we can't afford to pick and choose.

Per this article Klopp also. Being as Wilder is in for Pool’s Brewster at c. £17M, perhaps they could agree between the clubs to donate 10% of the fee to the lower league support funding,
File this under fairy tales.

1% of all transfer fees in next window would be a great way to support lower level football - obviously only payable if person being bought is at an English club. And every premier league and championship club has to do a pre season friendly for a lower tier team from L1 and below, more if they can, ahead of next season to put a few quid in the coffers at the end of a tough summer...

Most of the prem clubs will probably just send U23 sides whilst they saunter off to the far east to play a load of games then moan about players playing too much...

They could start by giving us a couple of defenders free on loan.
