Did anyone work out where the Amber Zone was on Saturday?
The Amber Zone contains staff and players from each side that are not part of the Red Zone, the directors from each team and the press and broadcast media. Those required to retrieve and sanitise the match balls also are part of the Amber Zone.

Could it not be legitimately argued that the numbers required to retrieve and sanitise the balls is greater in an empty stadium , I would have as many as reasonably possible evenly spaced out in each stand and comprised of those willing to pay a donation to the club of say £40 for the privilege. Crazy ? Maybe. But not as crazy as thinking that is safer in a pub than having small crowds in lower League football grounds.

The amber zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the red zone.

I'm happy to donate £40 to sit on the back row of the East Stand anywhere with the possibility the ball could come up there. I will even bring my own sanitiser ! Seriously what would the Authorities do if we had 30 "ball boys" in a 3000 seater stand. They would be shown up as the fools they are if they did anything.

A great money making opportunity to get 3000 people to pay for the privilege to retrieve and sanitise the ball
