The whole thing sounds embarrassing. When we play the likes of .... er Solihull, we'll get absolutely mauled. Why the * haven't we got someone wide like everyone else?

Christmas time, that’ll be the final blight on the festive season

I think he was conned by the turnaround last season in the same way Sheridan was conned the season before

He as got better balance, trouble he’s still got no creativity, no flare, no pace and cardboard cutouts for central defenders

Wouldn't be fair to go into detail, but the representative of a summer trialist said summat all too similar...

Rowley sounds like he's been on a raw meat diet.

Oh dear, another loss. It will be nothing short of a miracle to be above relegation zone at the end of this season.

Must go down as the worse pre season ever, and how undercooked are we for the start of the season.

Pemberton must be a very worried man

Very worrying, 2 defeats and no goals against lower league opposition
I hope Pemberton has some tricks up his sleeve or could we benefit from a 2 week delay to the start of the season

What is it about this football club. Every year. Malaise. Head-scratching. Only a pre-season but:. No goals from centre fwds. No centre fwds. Back three won't work- why does the manager after manager go for a back threes?
Where's the flair, energy, chances?

Coming back from injury, no use risking him before next week.
God I hate this league.

very worrying that we're pinning all our hopes on a 38 year old who is now injured, besides tyson there's no one else to come back and therefore the rest of the squad has come off 2nd best to lower league opposition.

One look at the lineup told me enough - same s*#t different season. If we ever do get playing another long season of struggle is ahead with this squad

What do you think he was expecting? Pembo has signed / resigned players, if we keep getting stuffed by teams with smaller playing budgets then he takes responsibility for recruitment tactics etc

I said this before.
If we haven’t got the most skilful players (seems we haven’t)- we can make the most of what we have got by making them the fittest, strongest, fastest team we can be.

Anyone watch the game and can comment if that has been achieved this pre season?
