Wow imagine if similar happened with Tendayi, just think what Saunders could do with an extra 500k to spend!
I suppose that's enough to cover this seasons losses

Sunday tabloids reporting West Ham likely to make a move for him in January. Joking aside that really could be a very very good earner indeed. Also saying Burnley paid £550,000 for him. I'd imagine if he did go somewhere like West Ham then it would take at least 5m for him.

I can't imagine Burnley need to sell him. They signed gray for £9 million and have the premier league money. If he does leave in January it'll be for inflated transfer window money to cover the sell on clause money.
The new manager could have a nice kitty and Da could wipe a hefty slice of the debt off with this one

Can you imagine if they got £10 million for him and we do have 40%
We'd probably squander it 😂

That's the thing, if he went for say 5m, that would be approx 40% of 4.5m profit for us from Burnley, which would be 1.8m which would leave Burnley with just about 3m for the sale of a very promising quality young player, so hardly worth their while. If it turns out to be true it could be massive both for us as a team and DA in terms of debt reduction.

Bearing in mind they'd be left with only 60% of £4.5m using those numbers, I don't think they would even consider such a low figure. They would rather double his pay and keep him under contract.
I was watching Odubajo on Friday night. Hull paid Brentford £3.5m for him and he's very similar to Tendayi but probably not as good. Any deal that doesn't leave Burnley with at least that to get a replacement will not be in their own best interests.

Burnley would keep the first £550,000, or whatever they paid for him, themselves, the remaining fee would then be split 60/40% or whatever the percentage sell on clause is.
