Is this something like "having a quiet word in his ear" or is it some dreadful facial disability our Sean has developed ?

According to CT..a large one..I'd guess that means 25/30%..?

It was stated at the AGM that we have a good sell-on in the case of Tendayi but a smaller one on Clucas.

a sell on clause for a young player with potential going to a Championship club?

Not sure any CEO should get credit for including such a common clause in a transfer deal!

Standard clause for a young ish player moving up to a higher level nowadays. Just because the boiler man does what he's supposed to do and fixes my boiler doesn't mean he gets a standing ovation.

Congratulating the CEO for including a standard clause in a transfer of this nature would be like congratulating someone on not drink driving home from the pub after a gallon.

From a CFC point of view let's hope it happens and our next windfall comes from an old sale and not an unlikely new one.

Standard eh?.

In what could be interpreted as a dig by some, MDCC.....said Tendayi was going for £200k and no sell on.

I would agree it should be standard practice to ask for a sell-on clause to be included in any transfer of a young player but the size of it along with the initial fee and any other add-ons are the subject of negotiation.

Now, if CT managed to get any or all of these elements increased during negotiations he deserves a level of credit - however, we will never know but we have, at least, moved on from the sale of King Kev.

Barnsley have a 15% sell on clause which could net them an extra 4.5m if Everton sell their former defender Stones to Chelsea in January..
Wow imagine if similar happened with Tendayi, just think what Saunders could do with an extra 500k to spend!

I don't want him as he's a Blades fan.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!
