Striker released by Burnley. Don't know if we could afford his wages but if we are wanting another forward with pedigree......

... then steer clear of this lad as we have enough non-scoring strikers as it is.

Fair enough, obviously not been playing for Burnley but I've seen the name on a few occasions scoring goals in the past- prob for another team. Thought he might be in the same vein as SEB.

Seems to have really gone off the rails since being highly rated as a youngster. Numerous U21 caps etc but struggled badly the last few seasons. Suspect a league 1 club may end up taking a gamble on him but i suspect he'll have to take a massive cut in wages.

He left Watford for Bolton but got homesick and kept returning to London which caused poor performances and created bad habits. He went on loan to Charlton but his bad habits remained so he did little of use. Dyche had worked with him before and thought he could get the best out of him but for whatever reason it didn't happen. Unless he sorts his head out he'll end up in L1 or lower, and while I've seen him play some great football he isn't what he was. We have better in Ebanks-Blake and Novak.

If he gets a hat-trick Saturday then I know who to blame ;)
