Yes u are 100% correct. I was thinking short term solution. Long term, we need a season long loan CM or RB. Or a player that is still out of contract. Such a shame for Martinez.

Cant do a long term loan until January so in that respect its an out of contract player or a 93 day loan when the window for those opens next week.

Do you not understand the concept of being unable to inform people of the exact state of play straight away? Mr. Biggs did the same. I ruled out three players people were worried about losing and now I've told you who has suffered the injury and roughly what the injury is (not that I'm looking for plaudits or anything).

Out of interest does anyone know if clubs insure against long term injury? I assume he is one of our better paid players so would be good if wages covered.

Interesting question... let's hope so. The good thing for Angel is that he is just into a 2 year contract so he has some security.

I thought it had been mentioned previously that we dont insure players against injuries as the costs outweigh the benefits or something along those lines.
