I thought "forever blowing bubbles" was quite funny. It's meant in a bit of jest. It's a sad state of affairs when football banter becomes anything else.

But the real fun comes from watching all the sad middle aged blokes all sat on their own as close to the away fans each week just losing their mind with rage any time anything in the away end happens. Every week at every away game the same type of people

Also funny watching grown blokes in their 50s doing the same back. Equally sad. All clubs have them sadly

The problem with Millwall is that they have shown on numerous occasions they are more than capable of travelling in large numbers and causing chaos, whether it be sad or not.
I didn't witness any issues yesterday but if they feel people have been taking liberties, they may well feel they need to return the favour.
I know they went to Hillsborough a couple of years ago intent on trouble and caused a lot of damage, including smashing the trams up they were being escorted on.
I don't for one minute agree, I just think that if we have individuals that have gone there and caused and issues, the favour could be returned.
I thought we had a bit of a connection with Millwall though, I seem to recall there being Millwall drinking with town when we visited Charlton recently.

Agree with you Dave, It looked to me that the Millwall fans were applauding us at he conclusion of the first sailing. However by the end of the game their mood had definitely changed (due to their abject performance and our pizz taking) It will prove interesting when they come up here seeking vengeance comes natural to them. Will plod actually exercise their "on intelligence gained" clause and move the KO (to show they are proactive) not that it will make any difference.

Talking of Harry are a millwall side the same without Harry Cripps?

One thing is for certain, whatever the "Plod" do it'll be wrong. Classic no win situation.

The bridge buses stopped off at Bexleyheath yesdi for a lunchtime drink and eats, met a few Millwall fans in the pubs there and they were excellent! Nice chat and beer with them. Not one hint of a problem.
Like I've said before, if you go looking for it they will undoubtedly oblige. Show respect and you'll get it in return.

Classic no win situation is it. Well the forcing early ko's v the blunts and the ridiculous alteration of the Burton game is an admittance of not having the ability to cope, so lets hope they can redeem themselves with this potential powder keg

However probably the best hope is for who ever is the latest incumbent of the Michael Fish position for horrendous weather forecasting , can predict a 10 foot snow fall with a blanket of fog somewhere between here and London which may put them of travelling

Burton = Staffordshire Police.

Don't Burton use Derby County stewards on match-days?

if so then perhaps Derby County v MK Dons Saturday 13th Feb 16; may be the reason for the change?

Didn't they also do it a couple of years back when we won League 2, moving it to the Sunday?

Similar situation then, that Derby had played at home on the Saturday?

Yep their away following is a typical league 1 following. Like is or any other would only attract the idiots for a bigger game of local Derby

Yes their away followings are generally L1 standard numbers wise. As their reputation proceeds them and they are generally met with a reception committee from their hosts, they do tend to have a much larger than average hooligan element, or certainly a larger than average number of willing participants to engage in some fisticuffs.

According to my neighbour whose a Millwall season ticket holder he was impressed with CFC but we had nothing to beat.

Millwall in dire straights and expecting there lowest crowd ever in the jpt on tues.

He reckons theres never trouble now days unless they play one of the big boys that's when the old brigade come out of retirement.

They took 1,600 to Shrewsbury on the opening day. Bit more than the average L1 club would have done i'd say given the distance and opposition

I think most teams who had dropped down a division and saw themselves as a big fish at that level would have travelled in similar numbers on the opening day. I was talking generally over the course of a season.
