Familiar to some as he featured in a piece about Prostate Cancer recently on the clubs (and many other national) websites.

I don't know Ivan, though love the name (it was my grandads)
The name Ivan in my view should be used again by folk naming their babs as it's a proper blokes name (none of this Ryan's, etc)

RIP Iv

Ivan already has a plaque up in the Memorial Garden where his flowers from today's service have been placed.

I was gutted to hear the sad news today. I so wish I could have been at the funeral but am away with work. A top bloke was Ivan! I grew up in brim and met him originally through his kids who I used to knock about with. He loved a laugh. A town lad through and through. RIP Ivan.

A familiar face to many of us Spireites, a sad loss of a lovely bloke. Didn't know him well but we've spoken on numerous occasions in my 25 years a blue.

Condolences to all concerned.

RIP Ive, you'll be sadly missed my friend.

Didn't know him, but saw him at town games, home and away over the years. Was it the cancer than finally took him?

RIP Ivan.

First met Ivan stood on the Kop at Saltergate, always good for a laugh and a quip or two, a great fella. Thought he'd got away with it when I saw look north and the prostate thing it was terrible when I heard that hr had fallen poorly after all. Rip Ivan you will be missed

Are there any Spireites who fancy joining up on the Football League cycle from London to Amaterdam next June (for Men Utd -prostate cancer)?
Great cause and sad to hear another Spireite passing
