I'm not going to judge this signing and slate the player. He may well turn out to be a quality signing.



He is however a player that's been on the transfer list for a while. So it's unlikely he was one of our top targets. If he was we would have signed him a long time ago. It says to me that the "policy" of ignoring solid L1 players and targeting championship players hasn't worked, so we are now looking at the price bracket more realistic for a club of our stature.


Trouble is lots of the better ones are signed up with other clubs.

With what we have at our disposal now,coupled with the certain injuries we will get; if Saunders keeps us up, it will be nothing short of a miracle!

as were many seasons in the early 90s and ealry mid 2000s

How many of those seasons did we start a game 3 players lighter than we ended the season?

None.


Sheridans season was bad due to missed targets, but this season we have lost half of the outfield side and brought in 1 player

In the summer of 2011 we lost Davies and Smalley but brought in Nate Dogg and Randall. Then later in the summer we brought in Mendy and Westcarr.

Pretty impressive in comparison to now!

The difference being Orient could be in for a promotion push and well we're not likely to be doing that again sometime soon.

Has DS ever mentioned him? This is just a rumour bourne out of desperation by those looking for a glimmer of hope to cling to. People need to realise that DS/CT and the board do not care about this club. Only the supporters care and we are the only ones that feel the pain
