Add to that Stephen Crainey, ex-Celtic and 12-time Scottish international.

What leads you to assume that all, or even any of it will go towards team rebuilding rather than debt reduction ?

I didn't say any of it would go towards the team!!!

I assume all of it will be on debt reduction.

A debt free club, or a club with lower debts will be more attractive to future investors

A new hope.

If we bring in £2,000,000 in sales that's not bad for the long term future of the club.

It leaves a heck of a rebuilding job for the new manager though. As PC said - its a big summer for CFC!!!

Correct. It's the best time for player sales, give the new manager a clean slate to build the team in his own image. How many times in the past have we seen players signed by the old manager paid to leave when the new man came in.

Anyone decentish from Crawley been released? Wouldn't mind McLeod if he's available.

Think he may still have a year left on his contract. Big unit, done well to score the goals he has done this season. Would certainly suggest he offers a bit more return than Armand did...

I've read a load of back room staff to be replaced by Saunders men.

Hope shinner is retained. Our fitness is a cut above.
Here we go again!

I agree, I'm hoping he doesn't want the upheaval of a move, because I'd bet money PC would love to have him at Pompey.

Michael Doyle released by United. A possibility to fill the void left by Ryan?

Obviously attentions have been elsewhere recently but it remains in the pipeline.
It was really close to being done prior to all this Cook/Portsmouth stuff.
Chris Turner, Chettle & agent all keen to make it happen.
