Surely this has to be announced before close of play tonight?

Probably doesn’t matter to the likes of us who are paying players already
Looks like it is more of a concern to those clubs In the NLS and NLN who only start paying players when the season starts

It will either be renewed, renegotiated, cutback or discontinued at that time
Seems fair to me and is actually quite generous. If will be up to us to make sure we make as much of any shortfall as possible.

No information on how it will be divvied up.
Average attendance?
Sales of season tickets?
Any road up, great news.

So even if it is half of £3M evenly split 23 ways that is £65K/month
I’d be VERY surprised if it was calculated on the basis, if we get 3000 and others get1500, we’ll get double

'The National League has now received confirmation of significant financial grant-aid support from the Government to compensate clubs for essential revenue lost from fans not returning in October, and has communicated with its member clubs to provide reassurance ahead of the season start.'
I don't see how compensation for essential revenue lost from fans not returning can be calculated without looking at crowd numbers formally lodged with the authorities in previous seasons.
Err, hang on a minute ???
I think this is one for Greenie. CFC must have been told what the formula will be. A bit of background would also be nice. How is CFC represented on the NL Board?

I was watching the NL highlights and they were saying what a great leveller it would be so I guess they are assuming it will be a even split. However they have little idea, they had Zavon doing punditry for starters.
It’ll be interesting how they divvy up the cash. Whether it is turnover, attendances or a straight split they’ll be moans galore. I hope we find out.

Don't forget, there are those clubs who have sold STs against the advice given by the NL and spent the money so raised on their squads for this season.
Interestingly, those clubs are among the favourites for promotion. Morally, should they be gifted even more money?

I would hope the clubs are refunding straight away or ring fencing the money - some chance
As the NL advised against selling STs, refunds should be guaranteed or the NL should take that into account - will they
I’m afraid the NL aren’t going to take bookies odds into account. They probably won’t take a clubs overheads into account, e.g. stadium overheads, travelling costs etc. which could be justifiable.
