50 years since we won a trophy, (ok there aren't that many to actually win) so does any town fan think we can win this tournament? what do we think will actually happen? I think we should easily get out of the group stage and after that well it becomes almost impossible to predict doesn't it. I think we can make the quarters. if we make the semi's then i'll be pleased with that anything else a bonus.

No! Quarter finals if we are lucky. Went today we were awful against a rank average turkey side!

Not a chance we will win it. Ok going forward but pathetic at the back. Quarters at very best.

I'm expecting us to be Semi finalists. Then who knows?
This is the first time in decades that I've been really optimistic about our chances. We have a team ethic now at international level that I haven't witnessed since the 90 World Cup. Let's not forget that our second string team beat the current world champions in their own backyard. The players we have now seem to play with no fear, in Dele Ali we have a midfielder that is quickly becoming a major player in World football. The real threat to us winning the lot is if the French step upto the plate like they usually do when hosting a championships.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

We have a better chance than Leicester had of winning the league by several orders of magnitude so
I see no reason to be negative before a ball is kicked. Having said that, I think our defence is looking too
weak for us to go all the way.

Off topic , and this shows how much interest I have in the current England set up , as I am led to believe its not a new thing but ..

How hideous is that kit ?

To the OP Quarter finals at the very best

The kit is rank, looks like it's been made up of the oddments left in the spare kit basket at school.

Is dele Ali really becoming a major player in world football?
He's had a decent run but major player in world football is stretching it a bit, or is he he destined to become a gerrard for the new generation and end up being a decent player who is massively overhyped in this country

I like the colours but any skin tight kit is a no no unless you've got the physique of an athlete. Why do they do this, surely it must limit the number of fans who haven't got the body of a Greek god from buying it.

The ones usually on sale in sports direct etc will be a different fit. The skin tight ones are more expensive.

And companies want their £50 every couple of years, so they have to keep changing the kit.

I've had a tenner on Wales at 80/1. Don't see them winning it but those odds are ridiculously long.

For someone with little interest, you seem very opinionated on most things England!

Kits, selection, formation tactics etc

Kit ...Tick

Selection ... BIG Tick but that's through club-supporting Tinted specs

Formation tactics ....... Really Really not bothered AT ALL

So in this case I appear to be with Meatloaf
