It's a sad indictment of where we're at that a teenager with barely double figures of first team appearances is promoted to the England squad.

I doubt he'll go, as well as echoing the bewilderment that more longer term performers like Noble have been overlooked, but surely he should be serving some sort of apprenticeship in the U21's rather than being anywhere near the first team.

We've to learn how to beat the Spanish firstly, then we can start getting giddy.
God I hate this league.

I have no loyalties too Chris but when you see Chesterfield residents queuing at SCS on Markham Road every home game to board the Man Utd home game bus you cannot have any love for the Wa*nks

Dear oh dear!

We made it through the qualifiers and beat the world champions without Rashford.
I'd leave him at home, let him watch it all on television. It'll make him think that he'd have to knuckle down even harder, that his ego wouldn't be built up bigger by being part of the England team after only a handful of appearances for Man Utd.
The problem is too many youth players are earmarked as the next "big thing" and they forget about football because money is on the table. Look at Raheem Sterling.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I think Sirling and Rashford are 2 very different characters though.
Stirling was a very troubled kid-huge talent and brilliant and always destined to do well but always a nightmare.
Rashford seems the opposite?

Rashford off injured.

And what do folk have against the proven, though injury prone quality that Sturridge possesses?

(PS: I'm totally objective having no Premier League loyalties of any kind.)

He plays for Liverpool and CPS can't abide that.

If I had to choose, I'd take Rashford with the view of looking to the future England football team but....
I see Rooney now a midfielder.
Rashford striker and winger.

Rashford in, Wiltshire out.

1) Not going to happen.
2) Never should happen.

Wanting Wilshere out of the squad is an admission that the English have no intention of aspiring to win tournaments.

1) Wiltshire is injury prone
2) Wiltshire not played this season ( if he has, it's been for an incredibly short period....because of injury)

He's by far the most talented midfielder we have; he will play. To not want him to play is pure populism.

Ironic ( possibly ) that had the new Manchester United manager been in charge this season Marcus Rashford would probably bagged about 15 goals on loan at Preston North End or the likes .

Another Manc player that had he played for WBA , Norwich . Palace ,WHU or Sunderland wouldn't have been on Woy's radar ...See also Chris Smalling
