i've seen him score some outrageous goals for Sheff Utd and Italy that would suggest there is at least something worth working on IMO

That's my thoughts. After all, it's not as though he's being released by Real Madrid. I would imagine his wage is not an issue. If he has any of the promise that has been spoken about, why on earth would a club like Sheff Utd, a mid table L1 side, be letting him go. If it's an attitude problem, do we need that headache??
