Did he make a forward pass?

If you wish we can certainly class his excellent strike for the second goal as a forward pass.

Andy Morris trying to turn was like a Sherman Tank, Bob Newton mastered a 10 square yard area.
Both teams could have had 10, played in good spirits, women sat near me went gooey eyed when Jake Qickenden took his shirt off.

Ogrizovc still looks good, Tingay looked vulnerable, Gareth Davies did OK, Phil Bonnyman injured just jogging out for the warm up, a couple of others lasted barely 5 minutes before there hamstrings went

Phil Tingay, still not bad for a 66 year old.

Best and fittest former Spireite playing today was Mark Allott by a country mile.

Agreed, he was always a quality player. Oggy looked decent as well.

Thought allott and Curtis were class today....the first half jack could have had a couple and it was looking like it was going to be one of them games until his cool finish in the second half. Nice to see warnock in the dugout especially as there was a charity game at Rammell lane this aft. Does anyone know what happened to some of the no shows? Birch, shinner etc.... Was a good afternoon and hopefully made plenty of cash.

Wouldn't it be good if we could turn the clock back for those two - we'd be well on the way to a decent midfield.

Allott was always better than a fair number ever gave him credit for and I'd back Curtis to win a 50:50 ball every time.

agreed , we could have done with MA this season especially !

always seemed to be in the right place at the right time , read the game so well ,

also to show some of the others

a) how to win a tackle without being sent off

b) how to distribute / use the ball without losing it

used to get some grief but he was always my favorite player - oops will need to change my online banking question now !

Allott looked good and fit and had a good game, but I think I'd have to say Curtis was the best on show today, didn't look to have aged at all.

Curtis looked in great shape and stood out for me.

Pleasantly surprised by some of the early tackles, plenty of desire.
