I think it is but there's never that many CFC fans there.

Odd game for the last Saturday before the season. Wonder how strong the squad will be

Thursday 28th July away at Heanor. I presume this will be a 'Chesterfield XI' type fixture.

Rumour doing the rounds - not from the usual sources, I hasten to add - that we'll be hosting the Bowels and Premier League Champions Leicester City pre-season.

Anyone else heard owt?

Looking at Leicester's preseason calendar, I'd doubt it now.
Tuesday 19th July - Oxford (a)
Saturday 23rd July - Celtic (a)
Saturday 30th July - Paris Saint-Germain (a - Los Angeles)
Wednesday 3rd August - Barcelona (a - Stockholm)

They could fly from Glasgow to East Midlands after the Celtic game, play a team against us on the Tuesday and fly out to LA the following day.

Other than that, I don't think Leicester could fit us in to be fair.

And no details of the preseason tour either. Bizarre as they are trying to sell places (and raffle tickets) for places on it.

I believe those that have expressed an interest in the tour have been informed of the destination.

They have however been sworn to secrecy.

Why haven't they announced the destination yet? If they can run a comp they must know it is happening so why not think of the fans for once and encourage people to get out there? Oxford are going to Spain and have put together a great pack for fans wishing to go and are expecting 4-500 to go including free BBQ for the fans etc. Sounds like a great trip looking at the itinerary and what the club has released for fans on how to get there, where to stay etc - no reason at all we can't do the same..

Oh wait we have a clueless board who are out of touch and don't give two ****s about the fans. Typical

Just looked up the Oxford example and they were putting forward a pretty detailed itinery way back in February.

Whereas we get treated with disdain - the only thing that has been confirmed so far being that you have to part with 20 notes for the chance to go.

I'm not entering the comp but I would be willing along with 8-10 other mates to book some cheap flights and go out there for a few beers in the sun for a couple of nights. Not even got the courtesy to give us chance to do that. The contempt that have for everyone else across the board is **** as always, they literally don't give a toss.
