Rumour doing the rounds - not from the usual sources, I hasten to add - that we'll be hosting the Bowels and Premier League Champions Leicester City pre-season.

Anyone else heard owt?

I was told a top premiership team, that wasn't the top 4 eg Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc, so that could fit Leicester. If it happens, I hope it's on 23rd July, that's my 40th birthday weekend 😉

Your lad would have been at home with the pride of Liverpool enhancing the country's reputation in Basel the other night if he likes to go mental.

It'll never happen.. Derbyshire plod couldn't handle it! I've been to more Rangers games than I can remember & when they played at Hillsborough a few years ago, it was sheer carnage! Not a chance Derbyshire plod could police this sensibly!

How do you police something sensibly that, by all accounts, was sheer carnage?? If that was the case, maybe pouring scorn on the local plod is slightly misplaced and better served directed at those Rangers fans creating the carnage??

Well going on the evidence of Cardiff's visit some years ago countless Rangers hordes could rape and pillage Chesterfield, all caught on various cameras, yet suffer only a couple of arrests for minor misdemeanors.

Meanwhile scores of local lads would have their pictures featured in some sort of 'rogues gallery' many of whom would then be charged and banned as a result.

Pretty sure that was just after they had been demoted to the bottom tier. I was in Sheffield that day unfortunately and they brought about 8,000 even given their troubles. Was a lot of aggro going off all over the show.
