Turned over from BBC after about 2 mins as Martin Keown could bore for a world team and he must have a degree in stating the obvious. Thought BT Sport couldn't be any worse and they have Macmanaman on. God it's a close call which is worse

Is Mark Clattenburg wearing a long sleeve top to cover up his W*nky Mancs tattoo?

Also, nearly half time and Fellaini hasn't sunk his elbow into a Palace player's cheekbone......maybe second half

Poor poor refereeing, re: not playing advantage.

What a decision by Clattenburg to book Smalling and stop Wickham in full flow

He obviously is beginning to believe his own publicity again and Fergies talk with him before the match obviously helped Utd :windup

Forget the ref, this is a poor game. Palace pulling the team coach onto the turf to stop a Man Utd side that have absolutely no penetration to their play. Clattenberg will take the flack, deserved for poor decisions, but let's hope it doesn't deflect from what dross these multi millionaires are serving up.

He's got the champions league final next week as well - could be embarrassing!

I reckon he's getting into practise after letting his last high profile game get out of control. That Madrid/Madrid final could be a difficult one to referee.

If he sends Ronaldo off for diving (especially if it was a mistake) then I may warm to Clattenburg!

A dreadful game and another one in recent times that was instantly forgettable........ no atmosphere and just felt like a normal match not an FA Cup final. Everything used to stop on cup final day years ago and everyone i know watched it. These days i dont know anyone who bothered. The late start , the new Wembley the semi's played at the same stadium...... still am sure the Thais enjoyed watching it in the bars of Bangkok!!!

I pretty much agree with your post. However, if the semi's were at the likes of Old Trafford and the Emirates ( which would probably be nailed on, depending on the geography of the teams involved ) I would think there would criticism for the revenue being afforded to the fashionable clubs hosting these games.

For what is worth, I'd much prefer a return to the neutral semi final venues and Wembley for the final only.
