Just had a tip off from a mate who's had an email from Kevin Fitzgerald.

CFC are playing a friendly in Europe in July and are giving six fans the chance to travel with the team, play a round of golf, watch the game, etc for the bargain price of £1,700 per person.

No details about the game as yet.

It's a urine take. It's like my lads school trip to Spain, having to stump up 600 notes for 5 days away so the teachers can go for free.

Don't send him then?
Who else do you think would take him if not his teachers?

Why would I want him to miss out on something through no fault of his own?

As opposed to you booking travel for you and him to go on your own holiday? Possibly unpaid taking time off so you can travel with him? Or even going on a family holiday in high season? Yeah, those teachers have a got a nerve taking your boy away in a low-season booking time.

Meanwhile, those tour operators get away with extreme mark-ups for standard bookings. Every...single...time... ;)

According to something I just saw on Twitter from the club it's 9th to the 14th July - so I guess it will be mor than one fixture. Would be great if it was Darmstadt and some of the other teams around there like Stuttgart. Won't be getting my hopes up though - suspect it's more likely to be somewhere like Ireland.
Don't suppose you got a hint of the destination from your mate?
