As regards other teams we've seen down the Lane, then... Nantwich Town and yes Frickley, but also Sutton Coldfield. Ilkeston as well come to think of it, after we lost the Derbyshire Cup Final to them (at the Proact) a couple of years back.
Not heard of the group you refer to BTW.

Not Belper Town? Fair enough =)
Lots of Belper fans would name Matlock as their main rivals, and both sets of fans sing about shoving mills into orifices when they play one another (though Matlock are usually a division higher). The small but vocal minority that do seem to hate Matlock are the dumbest and least harmful of the Belper support.

No not that bothered about Belper TBH and as you say, we don't meet them regularly in the league.
I'm not worried about Sheffield FC either, but if we met them in a cup tie of some description, then there would be an immediate rivalry of course, which would only intensify if we found ourselves sharing divisional fixtures with them.
TBH, rivalries are taking a backseat as we speak (in every sense); we're rebuilding after a season studded with some dreadful results (the late losing run we endured) and we've a new management team. I'll settle for losing home and away to Buxton next season, if overall, we improve on merely raising our heads above the deadwood. If those poor results had been apparent from the opening weekend onward, we'd likely be playing in the Evo-Stik South by now: thankfully they weren't.

If I remember correctly didn't the trouble start as it was a very hot day and the Grimsby fans were crammed in quite tighly causing a few to faint in the heat. No excuse for kicking off though.

Well spotted
Yes I made it up, I had that song in the back of my mind "Time goes by when you're a driver of a train" where they start singing about hooliganism in the camberwick green world and a football special train being smashed up by "The Chigley skins"
sorry
