Paul is a lovely bloke a top town fan and I can only thank him for his efforts and hope to have a beer with him soon

If this isn't in jest I seriously hope that comes out with a positive response

The response was enjoy yourself less mr Middle East.

Used to be in his Chemistry class with Doc Poulton at Chesterfield Boys and is Town through and through.

Stood on the Kop with him in the 80's and remember well going as far as Torquay, Carlisle, Darlington, Scunny, Northampton and the rest in the 94/95 massive unbeaten run.

Have some very compromising photos of him in Torquay but I'll not go into that. Just young lads out on the p!ss. Paul's Town through and through and I suspect there's more to the story of spending time with the kids and family to this, but whatever it is (which I don't actually know), he's being very professional about it, which is more to be said for other certain employees of the club...if the cap Fitz and all that...

Of course whilst everybody is saying all these nice things about him, they are also suggesting he's a liar if they don believe what he has said privately to individuals he has known for years. It could just be true he wants some time with his family. That simple

Thanks for the concern spired. It was only a jest, though they have diagnosed that by attending the number of games I have this season I have been in serious danger of dying...

Fortunately for me I don't sit next to you. I sit in front of you thus ensuring I get to use all of my seat ! However, I am going deaf in my right ear.x

I see Paul's replacement has been announced.

Looks like DA knows him very well, fancy that eh?

Edit: would surprise me if we see a complete overhaul of the concourse now too

As Jamie Oliver once said, Pukka!

lol nearly!

Paul Watts has agreed to return to head up the Conference & Banqueting section, on a part time basis, according to the OS:

https://www.chesterf...-to-the-proact/

Acquisition of the summer, for me, anywhere at the club.

Presumably they'll rescind him getting blamed for the Food Hygiene failed inspection, 6 months after he'd left?!

Not sure how that fits in with being a flight attendant but good luck to him.

For the avoidance of doubt, here is where Paul was publically blamed by the club, over 6 months after he left, for the club being given a rating of 1:

If he's a mate probably not a good idea to put a post on a public forum appearing to question his ability

Not everyone will know you are joking
