I think derby will have and still do have bigger names on their radar than cook. They just sacked a former England manager and have premier league aspirations, someone like Big Sam would be my bet.

I wouldnt go so far as to say having his pick, but he would have been the favourite to succeed Clough imo. Bit of a urineer for Roberts and Ryan as they could have got more money, commuted together and stayed in L1 with a bigger club.

Having gone to Portsmouth I think Cook bottled it so not sure about him managing Blunts.

Also having read the innuendo's about his behaviour around Town maybe he went to Portsmouth to get as far away as possible
