Apparently his deal was extended during last season. The wonderful PR machine at the club simply forgot to tell us, in the same way they neglected to tell us that humphrey's deal had been extended :angry

If management doesn't tell media that triggers have been hit or contracts extended, are the media team supposed to be psychic? I asked them about these 2 and they weren't told until after everyone else knew.

The 'PR machine' he refers to isn't just, i don't think, the media team - it's the club as a whole.

If that is the case they are very unprofessional. They should be asking these questions on a daily basis, not just of the football management but of the office staff. It wouldn't take a lot of effort to ask the office staff responsible for registering contracts to let them know each time a new contract was registered. Slipshod and lazy from supposed media professionals.

Another example of this is their reluctance or inability to keep us informed of the pre season friendlies arranged by the club; on this forum there is a list of the games we know about so far this season, the club has only announced half of them, the rest we have found out about from our opponents websites, why the secrecy? How many more games are there that we haven't found out about? The media department really does come across as unfit for purpose.
