It's a long time since we have come up against this guy - remember him at Stockport all those years ago and if memory serves me right he was always a pain in the neck.

It seems he was recruited by Steve Cotterill on the beach whilst on holiday in a chance meeting.

God I hate this league.

Cant remember him ever doing owt against us to be fair. I always used to like to see him up front against us - technically very good but not the kind of striker who is going to hurt you with his strength or running in behind.

Hmm Interesting,

Here is a breakdown of matches against us for his various clubs.

Stockport 3 Matches 0 Goals
Hull 1 Matches 0 Goals
MK Dons 4 Matches 0 Goals

He's never played for Scunthorpe either, he must be one of those setter-upperer thingys.

Hes had a strange career. Many years as a journeyman lower league striker then two of the last three years playing in the Premiership for Norwich and Palace.

Scored eight In nine games this season so he's also one of those scorer thingys as well.

I remember him at stockport, always has a good game against us as i recall. Works the channels well, drops off deep and good on the ball.

There's a very interesting and unflattering portrait of Steve Cotterill in the Secret Footballer books. It's alleged he threatened to 'stab' Dave Kitson at one point.
These go to eleven.
