Tough start to his Chesterfield career & criticised.... Obviously going through an emotional time & soooooo glad he got the winner tonight. His confidence will have risen 100%..don't be surprised to see him score more important goals...he must be buzzing

Great finish anticipated the potential of a poor back pass

Agreed. When we actually started playing it to his feet rather than in the air, he was brilliant. Great performance

Funnily enough a goal can turn a goalscorer well into a goalscorer. I've always said get him on, ya can't score goals from the bench. I truly hope he goes on from here as he looks the real deal.

Talking of whom, Warfey seams to have gone AWOL again of late. Anyone know if he's ok?

I'd just seen the goal on sky sports news, along with interviews with Cookie and Parkinson, ought to be repeated this morning

Really good to see how much Morsey was encouraging teammates especially Harrison and Mani. I think he is looking like an excellent choice as captain

Saw the goal on SSN earlier....he anticipates it and then takes it really well. Makes you understand why Cook and co see something in him and after his stop start beginning at CFC it will be a massive weight of the shoulders to get not just a goal but such an important goal that gets us a massive three points.

Not surprised, he was awful. Gave us absolutely nowt, absolute homer, 6 minutes on at the end was a joke too. As others have said if he's going by that we'd still be playing at Peterborough. Anyone know what he disallowed Hird's yet for either?

Great performance under the circumstances from the lads, was never going to be a classic but we dug in and defended really well!

Agreed - the bookings were a joke, Clucas' especially. Goal was ruled out for offside - not Hird I don't think but whoever challenged the keeper as he spilled it. Looked very close to me - gut reaction at the time was that he was on.
