Tell us more as Cooper's agent is Blathers would be interesting to know why Cook would have a problem with him.

After the transfer Cook was eager to praise Cooper saying he'd alawys be welcome back here etc

One possible scenario (guess) is that CFC rejected the first 2 bids and asked Cooper to concentrate on his career with us as he would eventually reap greater benefits, but that a third party unsettled things by pestering Leeds, suggesting juggling with the figures and 'reviving' interest; and by pestering Cooper, upsetting the apple cart.

I believe PC wanted Coops to sign with his preferred agent, Coops decided to go with Blathers/Reeves set up instead.

Didn't sit well with Cookie apparently.

From the first inclinking of Leeds interest, Coops wanted to go and made it clear to the club. It was then just a case of how quickly and how much.

The Wolves stuff seemingly worked.

It would apper that the gent, in this case, did his best for both player and selling club.

I don't understand then why PC would be upset with him.

Christ, where to start with this one?

A member who I know spoke to a member of the coaching staff who informed him that was how much Cooper went for. Of course, it suits your argument to claim that that's idle speculation. Believe him or don't, doesn't affect me much. I'll trust what he was told by an employee of the club over your guesswork obviously.

It's weird that you keep talking about my body, especially when you are just simply lying. Despite it being completely irrelevant to this particular conversation, I have never once on this forum (or anywhere else) claimed that I am ripped, as that would be a silly lie. I have said that I intend to get ripped at some point - that is a bit different, don't you think?

You are very good at viewing me from a distance and then commenting on forums but you seem to lack the minerals to converse with me one to one. Maybe we could talk about the problems you have with me in person over a pint? If you're not willing to do that, then kindly stop commenting on me.

It was me who was told the info along with a couple of others who I was with.

800k plus x2 instalments of 100k.

The first bid leeds put in was either 450 or 475 can't really remember which as if had a few.

The staff member? Well you really couldn't hear it off anyone better. I'll take it as gospel.

If you're suggesting that LC to Leeds is part of some master plan, Id strongly suggest otherwise.

If you are suggesting the moon is made of cheese, I'd strongly suggest otherwise.
I wasn't inferring the existence of a 'masterplan' and the notion had never crossed my mind. I was just thinking that Leeds, with the Tommy rumours and the Liam transfer, have obviously been watching us- our good showing at Elland Road last season would have perhaps left an impression too- and when Hockaday gets moved aside, they may be looking for an up and coming manager since the experienced ones (of any calibre) will steer clear of a barmy owner. Cook seems like nobody's yes man but if a large club came calling, I would not resent him going. It will happen eventually but I hope it's a long way down the road.
