You've done the double over Torquay, that was my point.
Put it this way, if there's any substance to this theory (which there may or may not be), there will be quite a few yellow away strips being selected next season.
Superstition and football generally don't mix. I think you're looking a bit too deep personally with Burton on the horizon, and maybe Fleetwood having an away yellow kit.

Why would Fleetwood use the yellow away when the play in red?

Perfectly fair question, but why did we play in blue yesterday?
It seems to happen, far more often that it used to.
A red and white strip should not have clashed with a blue one yesterday, surely?

You've probably seen it happen yourselves. Travel miles to an away game, and see them turn up inexplicably in the away strip. I don't get it, like I don't get squad numbers either. Maybe I'm just an old fashioned boring so and so, but nothing's changed there.

Seems like you're spot on there. So many clubs now have different sponsors for both kits, hence why the away one is used more often.
Yes, also stand corrected, 3 was the old left back, it was a typo, it's only one key to the left don't forget...

I am obviously older than you and can remember the following shirt numbering
1 Goalie
2 Right Back
3 Left Back
4 Right Half
5 Centre Half
6 Left Half
7 Outside Right (winger)
8 Inside Right
9 Centre Forward
10 Inside Left
11 Outside Left
So you see 4 has not "always" been centre mid

Ban offsides and bring this back

I have noticed this before, not always the case but it does happen sometimes. Maybe it's cos tesms that play in yellow are more aware where their own players are on the pitch as the colour is easier to see than blue, so their passes are more accurate. Could have cause just be pure coincidence that we sometimes struggle against teams in bright colours.
