Resigned? Not waited for his usual pay off?

Now that’s a surprise
A new hope.

Yes, there is it’s a huge surprise!

Normally he’d sit in and wait for the push and relevant pay off (can’t say I blame him either).

Curious how he resigns, rather than wait for a pay-off, two days before the Spurs job becomes vacant...Posted Image

Oh how I'd laugh to see Sheridan in Spurs.... he's out of depth at our level..... he'd be a submarine......

Deserved. Despite what some prominent members of this board think, Sheridan was a shocking manager and I hope he ends up at field mill.

His first spell here gave us all some magical memories and players of the calibrate that we’d die for now, and for that I’m grateful.
His second spell? Well for whatever reason he quite simply didn’t give a flying eff.

He's made a fortune out of being sacked.

Imo in his first spell with us he was a manager trying to prove himself and was hungry for success

In his second spell I reckon he thought he had less to prove and with several payoffs from previous jobs the hunger for success was not quite the same

Sheridan put together one of the most exciting teams I've ever seen play in a town shirt when we won the league, something I will always appreciate what he did for us.

In his 2nd spell I think he believed he could turn up after a successful spell at Carlisle and walk the National League, how wrong he was and he underestimated like others what type of player was needed to be successful.

Since then he's lost his parents and with this to cope with and his sometimes arrogant approach hes lost the plot as a manager.

Just like watching Brazil! My favourite team too, with due respect to Cook.

Yes for us. Got us relegated from League One, and nearly got us relegated from the National League.

Did you start following Town in 2011/12?

I can’t stand Sheridan and think he has a huge amount to answer for, the way he sacked off his job with us and just seemingly could not be bothered to manage us in the National League.

However, I can’t deny that the 2011 League Two-winning side were great to watch, and even when (Tommy Lee’s injury contributing hugely) we were relegated in 2012, at least we won the JPT as consolation.
These go to eleven.

I would of completely agreed with this before Sheridan came back. A relegation was bad but two trophies made up for it, but the way he conducted himself and the damage he did in his second stint is unforgivable imo. I was at the Gillingham and Swindon games and I was always thankful for his work in winning both trophies but christ he was a disgrace in his second stint and he has gone on to prove what a horrendous manager he is at Wigan, Swindon, and Waterford since.

His demeanour during the 4-0 debacle at
Sutton was the worst I've seen. It was reflective of a manager in division 16Y of the Sunday league waiting for the pubs to open. Utter disgrace.
