Should see a fairly decent jump when the takeover goes through too...

Interesting. Is everyone being compared on the same basis though? We changed our method of reporting attendance mid-season from tickets sold to bums on seats, so if ours is an average of what's been reported over the season, then it's meaningless.

to be fair, its all meaningless. I'd rather be 4th bottom of the attendance league and top of the points league...
But I suspect the only league table we will top is reported financial loss...

It'll be interesting to see if the Trust can ramp up the preparations for their first predicted home match an March 21st. More programmes, more snap, more beer, more staff. Or will none of these be required?

I think they have a big PR / marketing job on reengaging those lost fans to get people back in the habit of attending games. Don’t think it’ll happen instantly for many.
A lot of my friends who have stopped going under Allen/Carson probably won’t instantly return. Things change, people get out the habit and that’s a big job.

Agree - but I also suspect that other teams in the League had the same issues/methods with attendance reporting so overall I guess it evens out over the period.

I also think that some fans won’t return until we are back in the football league. Your point about getting out of the habit is very true - you just find other things to do with your time.

Agree, going to games is more about the play than the politics for most fans imo. Being in the NL is bad enough but fighting to stay up as well?! The politics may have a bigger influence on sponsorship though ??

There was plenty replying to Phil Tooley saying they would be back so if they all keep their word it might put 500 on the gate initially.

Well there was a few hundred lying on his posts on the thread in the fans group appealing for backing, as there was on here too it seems but I’ll bow to your opinion.
I wasn’t saying 500 would return, I said based on the numbers saying they would that’s what their could be.

The clubs ownership is an opportunity for some to justify their disinterest in watching substandard, non league football.

Pretty much my take on it
