If true, what's the recovery protocol on that type of injury?

Expecting an announcement from the club tomorrow. Just looked up broken toes for footballers and basically it can be anything from 6-32 weeks out. Depends on which toe, where, how bad, who it is etc.

This little piggy ate roast beef in the newly formed "Uncle daves diner"...not a part of chesterfield fc.

Is it his toe (or metatarsal- which is more prevalent in footballers)?

Novaks goal ratio has been poor (poor service) and he has had bad luck with injuries, as have others in the squad, BUT when fit and available, his work rate in my opinion cannot be questioned. IF he is out for a while the chairman MUST back the manager and get a loaned or two in, or we are in big trouble relying on SEB, Harrison, Mani and Simons up top.

We've just brought in three players and the budget is already shot. Not sure how much more money he'll keep throwing at it before saying make do with what you have.

They have just received transfer fees for Armand and Morsy and freed up their wages. We have signed an experienced midfielder for an undisclosed fee who was surplus to requirements, a loanee who may or may not be costing anything and a kid on a short term contract released from his previous club

I would expect there is a fair bit left in terms of wages for some more loanees.

Depends how much Allen wants L1 football I suppose, if he wants it he'll get someone in pronto, if he doesn't care, he'll trouser the spare cash

How you know we've received transfer fees - doubt it.

Both were reported as "undisclosed fees"...if they were free transfers they would have been reported as free transfers.

Chris Turner was asked about the fee for Morsy on Saturday at Fans Forum meeting.

Although he would not divulge the exact amount he did confirm it was in excess of the £250k quoted in the media.

But how do you know when Chris Turner is lying?

Because his mouths moving....

If I were Chris I would pretend we got peanuts for Morsy - will save more embarrassment when people are asking 'wheres it gone' in a few months time.

Going back to last January, I wonder what we eventually received for Eoin Doyle? I recall Turner giving an interview saying the money we would receive would definitely be our first seven figure sum, but presumably Eoin's lack of game time, and his not making the international side put paid to any 'add ons'.

850k minimum wasn't it? In 2 instalments just over 400k each?

Probably another 150-200k if he makes a certain amount of appearances, which he may still do.

Not while he is on loan at Preston though.

The main reason for the increase in the Trade Debtors is that £450,000 was owed from Cardiff City FC at 30.6.15 in respect of the sale of Doyle
£400,000 was due on 1 July 2015 and more is due in January 2016

So, Cardiff should have paid £450k before 30/6/15 (but didn't), and also owe us £400k and an unspecified amount paid last month. That's presumably definite income excluding add ons.
