What is your prediction. Let's see who the fool is.

My prediction is it won't be much less than we get now as there are a lot more people who will go as they have been through a lot worse than it is now this board and the phone ins is the reason there's so much negativity around.

So what I'll do for you is less than 3500 season ticket holders next season I'll give £100 to ash gate hospice
Anything over that figure you do the same

And I have even added 500 extra ticket holders for you foc.

2 from me. I'm a town fan, we always bob between these two leagues. If it's not your bag go and support someone else.

At least 20 of us in West stand centre, Spireites till we die no matter what league we play in.

I'll renew my season ticket and continue to buy True Blue tickets, purely because that's the time I get to spend with my football friends ;)
The club won't get another penny from me over that.

Football apart, meeting your friends each game is the best.

Yeah, absolutely nowt to do with an ever increasing debt, selling the family silver, losing a popular and successful manager, replacing him with Mr Relegation, sub-standard signings then lousy results meaning a fall down the division, it's all the fault of 'Bob's Board' and a few phone-in callers.

And hey - who says this forum isn't a representative cross-section of our larger fanbase?

I sometimes wonder why those who spend so many posts bemoaning our membership bother turning up on here...

Three points.....

It is possible a fair proportion of season ticket holders at the Proact haven't known the hard times at Saltergate (at least close up) so they might think again

The majority message board is far more constructive in their criticism than the people sat round me.

They never actually release the season ticket sales so your bet will be null and void
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Not that much difference then.

No, guaranteed to lose a big chunk regardless.

That's what happens when the board spins bare-faced lies to the punters. Many of these are relatively new support and are used to success. They trusted the board last year, even when we started selling. Many won't make the same mistake again.

Point 1 if you would like to read it again I said the reason for so much negativity around is the boards ,as it's so easy to condemn and complain I didn't say it was there fault these weren't around when we were at saltergate when there was much more to worry about ,same **** different days ,

Point 2 if you think that the same regular contributors to this board represent the feelings of circa 6000 supporters that's your perogative I don't agree.

Point 3 I didn't realise that this was called the Chris board so everyone can agree with you it's bobs board for all supporters to debate not to agree with everything you say .

Question regarding point 1... Do you mean that there was no message board when we played at saltergate?

It is actually cheaper to have a season ticket than go to 17 games on a game by game basis. Before I got a season ticket I missed a few games but I probably spend more, so club does not necessarily suffer if less season tickets sold. Season ticket sales are always going to fall unless each year you are getting better, as some always stop renewing if a team for example kept coming 12th.
I am sure if we do go down season ticket sales will fall, but not necessarily a bad thing, as if we are successful many will end up paying on a game by game basis. Biggest loss if we go down will be the loss of away fans as in league 1 there have been lots of games against clubs within a 100 miles of us.
Remember we went down only 4 years ago and within 2 years we were wining the title. Football fans have very short memories.
