Definitely.

Only turn I ever saw pack out the old BRSA club at Hollingwood.

Saw him in the West Stand a few times last season, too.

RIP Brian

Saw him a few times come into the west stand when I used to work on the gate. Didn't look too well then and this was 5 years ago. RIP Brian.

Saw him a few times at the Shoulder of Mutton and other places. Great times with a good guy.

Remember standing in the window to watch him at the Carr Vale hotel - and going outside and through the other door to get to bar to get served!!

RIP Brian.

Just seen this post. Sad but worthy of reminiscence.

I was a bit young but, didn't he used to come on stage with an empty cardboard box on his head and the audience had to guess who he was before he took it off.

I remember the Hudsons top ten in the DT - he was at number one and I think something like A-ha were number two??

I can remember my father coming back from a midweek night out at Lees Buildings Club at hollingwood
saying that busloads had come to watch someone called Brian the Singing Miner and the club was packed to
the rafters

That was the first time I had heard about him
