Play a strong XI, keep the momentum going from yesterday.

The big question is was Morsy booked? PA, BBC and Sky Sports have got Evatt, Herd and O'Neil being booked, but Saunders and a few others think Morsy was also booked. If that's the case (we're waiting to check the referees match report) he's on 5 yellow cards and has an automatic 1 game ban

If the Ref dashing 30 yards after you and waving a yellow card means you were booked - then yes, he was booked, and I make it 5 already.
All needless bookings, with the possible exception of O'Neill's. That was the only way he could stop his winger all afternoon.

The last time we won it we got relegated. I'd rather have a league win than a JPT trophy win. Getting into the Championship has to take priority. JPT is a tournament for second rate clubs. We need to look onwards and upwards, to a future time when we will not be playing in this competition anymore.

Losing is not a good habit. I want us to take it completely seriously and go for the win.

For second rate clubs?
You need to follow someone else fella if that's the case!

I had a quick look at the winners over the last ten years, 2 of the second rate winners are now playing in the Premier League and 2 of the other second rate teams are playing in the Championship

If I'm making a 250 mile round trip on a Tuesday night I want it taken seriously. We need to get into a winning mindset.

I doubt any of those teams would note it as a pivotal moment in their push towards the Premier League/Championship though!

Maybe not. But I bet the supporters still enjoyed winning the trophies.

Cos on telly. Think home leg was a night game during school term too.

I think the open secret about Cook departing had an impact, too. It knocked the optimism right out of us.
These go to eleven.

West Midlands. At least it's not as far as Carlisle. Getting a bit sick of the M6 at the moment but with 7 League 1 clubs in the NW it's unavoidable.

You want to try driving round the M25 and through what seems like 50 miles of road works on the M1 for every home game!!
Growing old is unavoidable, growing up is optional

I would have thought the jpt is our major realistic target this season.

Confirmed from referee's report, Morsy was booked on Saturday and therefore misses tomorrow's JPT match for his 5th yellow of the season.

that creates an interesting situation then, with Ritchie not even on the bench at Crewe. I hope he gives Dion a go. We need to know how tough he is.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
