We wouldn't get Izale for a host of reasons including:

He's only just gone to County
He went for about 150k which we wouldn't pay
Saunders had him at Crawley and apparently they don't get on

County fan at work says he's best striker they have had in years. We missed the boat

In an ideal world we need a minimum of 3. Right back, some genuine pace up front down the middle to occupy the defence and the another centre midfielder

Simmons and boley give us the pace to a certain extent its just the experience that they need at the moment

I don't think we need another striker, we just need to stop lumping the ball upto a striker who thrives on balls played along the floor....

Shall I finish the sentence for you for the reasons why we need another striker or let you arrive at your own conclusions?

I will just list the facts about the ones we've got

SEB - Unfit and looks uninterested (and as CPS has experience of him, did warn us!)
Novak - injured and getting used as a punching bag by opposition defenders, also isn't ours as will be going back to Birmingham soon
Armand - look up the word footballer. you won't find a picture of him next to it!
Mani - volatile and raw
Simons - just starting in league football and looks a prospect but inexperienced in what we need right now.

This thread shows exactly why football is such a wonderful game. We need two players according to Deano and yet the opinions on here as to what those two should be is staggering. We need a right back, centre half, Jimmy Ryan clone midfielder, someone offering pace and crearivity and a centre forward. Good luck Dean.
