Sheridan took over the vacant management post from Terry Butcher at Newport on Thursday, They must be bankers for relegation now unless we can loan him a few players.

Why are they bankers for relegation? He did a good job at Plymouth, and is probably their best hope of keeping them up.

His problem will be trying to bring players in as their budget is rubbish

I wouldn't. The side Sheridan took down was awful.

I'm not disputing any of what you've said. Unless we pull a result out today though, my faith in DS will plummet further. I was one of the few on here advocating he would do a good job here. What I've witnessed these last few weeks has been no better, if not worse than what we were served up under JS in 11-12.

I do hope DS gets it right, as he seems a nice bloke. I was also perhaps a bit cynical saying I'd have JS back here in flash as Dean deserves more time.

Sounds contradictory as hell, but I know what I mean. :D

Don't forget the team he took up though.

I'm just extremely nervy at the minute, and overreactions from me aren't commonplace.

Unfortunately the team he took down succeeded the team he took up. He didn't come over well on a personal(ity) level in the media either, seemed a bit dour and not very bright.

Re your edit: I am willing to give DS another month to see if his signings get their act together (not that I have any choice in the matter lol)
