Just watched a program - think it wad called freestylers 2 hosted by a ginger lad on Sky 1 this morning. Also a couple of lads on Soccer AM do a feature.
Can these skills not be transferred to the football pitch? The skill some of these lads have IMO, could be used to skin opposition defenders/midfielders and bury one in the top corner at will.
I'm flabagsted that a footballclub, to my knowledge, hasn't picked up on this and given one of these incredibly skilled guys a chance. It be like having a poor man's Ronaldo ;-p

If they could be transferred onto the football pitch don't you think someone already would have?
doing tricks and being able to play football are worlds apart.

A lot of these freestylers are failed footballers. A lot still play semi pro etc.

I know who you're on about. Billy Wingrove and Jez (can't remember his surname). White guy and a mixed race guy right? They're unbelievable tbh. They were at professional clubs when they were younger but they've made a hell of a lot of money from YouTube videos etc. so no real need to turn professional now. They'll be on more than any of our lot are on. They ocassionally play semi pro and film their matches. Just searching F2 on YouTube should find you their channel.

My avatar gives a pretty good reason why they don't play pro. They would last 10 seconds before someone goes right through them and a stretcher bearer comes on
