Positive thinking or denial?
Not sure what to make of his talk of being more difficult to play against as opposed to thinking about how we can hurt the opposition through skill.

Hmmm. Interesting. There's a pretty unsubtle criticism of Ollie Banks in there. Showboating - admiring his own work but not working hard enough to stop his opponent from influencing the game. (in my opinion).

Well that's not hard. The team just showing up at the ground would probably be a better performance than what they gave against Blackpool.

Why is he banging on about this Jay O'Shea 'penalty' before Burton went up the other end and scored? I've seen no replay of it but at the time I shook my head as it didn't look anything like a foul to me.

At the end he had forgot that byron harrison was injured and not available. maybe byron isnt at the forefront of his mind for selection though to be fair the bloke does have alot on his mind.
He comes across as a very decent bloke actually the sort I would like to do well even if I was a neutral. It's all very glum though and he doesnt fill me with confidence. I'm afraid, i dont feel any real faith in him to turn it around. Even during a bad run i had a basic trust in people like cook, duncan, mcfarland and for a while sheridan to be competent and make more good decisions than bad ones. At the moment he i group him with richardson, mcnemeny, rushberry. I hope he proves me wrong, like I said earlier he seems a decent sort.

I've not listened to it but does Saunders give any explanation as to how in the space of two matches we managed to concede a goal when 20 seconds earlier we were well and truly in the ascendency. Attacking at the edge of Burtons penalty area on Saturday and then from an attempt cleared off Blackpool's line on Tuesday. On both occasions they have broken at pace and, bang, goal conceded.

Simple answer to that one,we don't have any players with the pace to match.

I agree. Oshea dived in my opinion. Never a free kick / penalty. We're in trouble if we're blaming the officials....
