Is that a praise or a grumble?.

It all depends on the discussion. It was impossible to give an accurate opinion on Drew's sending off until it was viewed on the highlights. For example, all the people who insisted straight afterwards that their man was offside were wrong.

On Satday, Sam Hird did a couple of great tackles, and a couple of even better blocks, and scored, and nearly scored. Highly seductive stuff, so I'm not surprised people came to the conclusion they did.

It was just an observation that some won't discuss the game, express an opinion or value their own judgement until they have seen the highlights and then they pick the bones of what people thought at the time, without the benefit of replays. It takes the passion out of it. Arguably they rarely make themselves look daft as they make no contribution to the early banter so can't be wrong etc

Definately not!

BTW, I'd still happily buy you that drink I promised. Actually, a mate suggested I stop defending Drew before the anti-Drew campaign became an anti Freasghost campaign. There have been one or two rumblings in that direction but, thankfully, most posters have been respectful.

Don't worry buddy I love Nathan Smith like you loved Drew, I understand

It's often the case that I watch the highlights and things look completely different in the side view to heads-on view of attacks you get from the Kop. For that reason I generally hold my fire until I've seen the highlights - seems like common sense to me.
The relative positions of people approaching at speed are notoriously difficult to assess.

He was at the game and will know who Sam H is. Dave's analytical skills on football have always been open to question. Hird (and Evo) basically kept us in the game.

You may well have been right Dave.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Good to see him on the bench and Mann & Simons given a run out. I'd start with him and Nanndo at Dale just to keep the young pair fresh for Giĺs.

Well after witnessing every game he's played at the Proact, I cannot for the life of me, see a footballer in him!
So unfit, immobile bereft of any ideas, couldn't hit a cows bottom with a banjo.
Give me Armand over him any day.
