Just hearing that Newport County have dismissed Terry Butcher and his management team, and who is supposedly lined up to replace him......?

Shezza!

Bet he's looking forward to working with Scotty Boden again!

Pity Butcher has gone- I had money on them to finish bottom.
These go to eleven.

He'll have them out of trouble soon enough.

Newport have just been taken over I think by a fans' trust, and have reduced their budget hugely. They are struggling badly. He will have a right old job on his hands. Not the most suitable manager for their situation. Hope he proves me wrong.

Had a similar situation at Plymouth and got them out of trouble then challenging for the play offs. Admittedly a much larger fan base down there.

Fair point, but Newport and Plymouth are different beasts. Argyle do have the fan base, a good ground, and the ability to spend a little bit of money to bring players in. Don't think that applies to Newport. Shez will have to work with what he has I imagine, which hasn't really been his forte.

I always thought Shez was not comfortable down at Plymouth as his family were all up north? I suppose Newport is a step in the right direction

Carragher on Sky saying he's heard similar, and you'd think he's in the know.

The truth regarding Dick Advocaat has emerged

After Sunderland's capitulation against WHU on Saturday a rightly irate Mackem burst in to the after match lounge and threw a Pint of Lemonade all over the beleaguered Dutchman

..It all just Snowballed from there
THEY FLY SO HIGH , NEARLY REACH THE SKY , AND LIKE MY DREAMS THEY FADE AND DIE
