Following on from the £1.3m Clucas fee / shopping at m&s comment & subsequent CFC official "undisclosed fee" episode last week end, just watched DS post Hartelepool interview on Player.
Tone & content a little different from CT positive interview early in week. Apparently Dean has a re "re building job" to do that he wasn't expecting & it's all a little bit late in the day. Say's they have a list of targets though & hopes that Drew is fit for next week!
Interesting times ahead!

4 days ago, Ashley Carson said Dean Saunders will not start the season with a weaker squad.. why say that?

Utterly idiotic statement to make. Why make a promise that you have no way of keeping?

The tone of that interview is really not good in all honesty - although you can understand why.

He didn't sound at all convincing about his "list of targets" or that he thought he would have to do a "re-building job" (even though anyone on here could probably have given him a hint about that in July). If he really has been left 6 days before the league starts to boost the squad, then it could well be a bumpy ride - especially if we do lose Morsy next week....

A bit like the gulf war when Iraqi foreign minister kept saying they were winning the war when bombs were destroying everything around him.

He may turn out to be a failure but I quite like his honesty

That will see him given the boot even if results don't

Liars like the rest of em all at the club. I feel almost as bad now than I did after the Brown era. I can't understand DA's desire to destroy our club

I'm not exactly jumping for joy about how things appear to be panning out but you are being a little melodramatic.

All the good players sold, no new signings, the CEO bullpooing, if DA not destroying the club what would you say he's doing? Is this not how it ended at the owls?

All but one of our desirable playing assets, yes. What's Turner outright lied about? I stopped paying attention to anything he said a long time ago as it's patently clear he's out of his depth on financial matters.

He hasn't sued anyone on the messageboard yet but don't rule it out if you start making accusations that can't be substantiated against him.

And then FIshni's self fulfilling prophecy would be complete

Allen vs Fishini/Bob's Board @ Derby Crown Court. Could be the best match of the season.

I'm afraid that response wouldn't wash in court. Put up or shut up.

Could be the only match Allen's team wins all season at this rate
