Made me chuckle. Ladbrokes have Gnando at 66/1. Anyone lumping on?
Had a small wager on Ebanks- Blake at 50's. Which I thought was considerably better value. Not sure if Sylvan will take our pens or will Jayo be the nominated taker?

He wouldn't let Nanndo take the one at Ilkeston.

No point in putting a bet on any of the town team. I had a fiver last season on Doyle n they sold him. Could see the same happening again if either of them was on 20 at Xmas.

I hope he doesn't do the pathetic demanding to take penalties like he did last season, just puts pressure on the taker

Don't know why you say that. He's got a 100% record for us, I think. For what it's worth ( not much in some peoples' eyes, I suspect), he has shown that he has got a tremendous dead ball shot. If we play him, I don't see why we shouldn't use him more in those situations.

But if the team have a designated penalty taker (seems to be oshea) he shouldn't be going off how he does, demanding to take it. It's adding pressure to the designated taker.

Correct. I'm sure the manager make the team fully aware of the order of the penalty takers. One things for sure,Saunders won't put up with that kind of petulance from Armband like Cook seemed to.

They both probably think they are more likely to be in the team if they are the designated penalty taker. It's straw clutching.

He has never scored a free kick for us in two and a half seasons.

Probs not many which is why in unsure how you've reached your conclusion. He can strike a ball with power, accepted, but nobody knows where it's gonna go.

Armband took a few free kicks when he had his run in the team around January, didn't he hit the bar with one?
But for clarity he hasn't scored with any of the few free kicks he's taken.
And in the interests of fairness, I can't recall anyone who has been especially prolific for us from free kicks, even Roberts, how many did he score from free kicks? One? Two?

Town players have never been prolific at free kicks in all the time I've watched them.
Tony Brien's into the away end goal at Saltergate is an exception.
Did Jamie Hewitt ever get one of his on target?

Southend at home, can't think of any others. But yeah, we're pretty awful at them (as are plenty of teams tbf)

Armand shook the bar against Scunthorpe. A hard hit.
