I'm left in no doubt that the root cause of the problem was that the stewards should have been better prepared. Perhaps Bean or Carson could tell us the last time the stewards received training or, if they have, whether any steward was reprimanded for not carrying out the proper procedure.

A dozen dickheads jump on the pitch and it's the stewards fault?
Give over

Exactly. One of the Stewards was sent a*se over elbow whilst trying to stand his ground.
Not enough stewards maybe a more accurate assumption but the ones that were there did what they could.

Nobody is disputing that.
I could see from my seat that tensions were rising. I'm questioning whether it dawned on anybody in the posh seats to show some leadership.

If you're on minimum wage why would you put yourself in danger? I certainly wouldn't.

They are now instructed to disperse any crowd congregating in a thoroughfare. Are you suggesting they disobey instructions?. Why the bluddddy hell they hadn't been given that instruction before Ebbsfleet is the nub.

I wouldn’t be getting physical be with anyone for 7 quid an hour or whatever it is if a polite request was ignored.

I post very rarely on here nowadays as the forum lacks balance and objectivity these days. However, for you I’ll make an exception. For avoidance of all doubt the root cause of the problem is idiots entering the field of play when they know it’s a criminal offence , not stewarding , which I agree needs to be better.
Bean has done an excellent job in mitigating punishment here.

what a sigh of relief from me, it could have been much worse. Graham Bean has done a good job with his swift actions, We are lucky this time so a message to all Spireites, in future keep off the sodding pitch or we will be in big trouble. My one wish now is for Ebbsfleet to get there come upence before the end of season.
