Surely after playing most, if not all our first team pre season friendlies, Boco will be offered a deal?

One year on low terms?

I expect him to sign, possible a 6 month of a year long deal. Backup for LW, CAM and RW.

I imagine Cook has promised him a deal but just can't finalise it because of the budgetary problem, some players wouldn't be comfortable with a gentleman's agreement but the two go back a long way

He has to do a hell of a lot more than what we've seen in the past few weeks. No doubt he'll be offered a contract but he will have to earn his shirt.

Cover for Roberts? I thought he looked pretty useful last night - sign him up if the money's right, but I'd have thought somebody would pay him more than we can. The PC magic might have a bearing though.

We might bring in a young wide player

I'd have thought so - but I've rated Boco since he scored that brilliant individual goal for Accy against us, as well as being at the centre of most of Accy's best football. The guy's got a lot to offer, and it seems PC is the boss who plays the kind of football that brings it out.
Good signing if we can get him reasonably.

But Plymouth fans thought he stunk the joint out!

I thought there was an official statement saying the club were not offering him a contract.

Anyway, for what it's worth, here are some comments from the 'retained' thread off the Plymouth board:

Glad Boco has gone
Boco a deadwood player
Boco a transfer that didn't work
Boco didn't show up
Boco gone - good decision
Boco a poor signing.

The only optimistic quote I could fine was:

Boco, perhaps the wrong player at the wrong club at the wrong time.

Make of that what you will.

And yet Boco was really liked at Accrington.

For me the other night he did ok and fitted into our attacking three well.

Now if that constitutes a deal from us then great.

Some players are a success with clubs and some others aren't!
Maybe he didn't enjoy suppin 8 pints before training while at Plymouth and his form suffered? Who knows

Or maybe if Cooky has got a whiff of another outgoing transfer , like Morsey being poached at last minute, mentioned on another thread, then he might be the replacement.

Not sure if I'm missing something buddy but why would an attacking mid/winger be a replacement for a ball winning cenna mid?

Think he could play most places in midfield area. A talented lad from what I've seen.

I really don't think he could play CM and he certainly couldn't play as a ball winner/all action box to box kinda guy imo.
