The fact that we haven't seen a resignation tonight has confirmed I think what we all knew deep down. Wilson will remain, Carson and Turner will stay in their respective posts and Allen will continue his reign. Sad sad times. I'm normally a glass half full type of guy but we will be relegated, we will face a very uncertain future; we will continue to be fed bull by the club; and we ultimately are powerless to stop anything. Last time we faced a problem like this we were able to scrape out of it with £7k raised by some incredibly dedicated individuals, this time we are at the mercy of big money businessmen who appear not to give a shiny **** about the club and individuals such as Wilson who clearly have no desire to hold their hands up and say 'I can't do any more so will step aside'.

I hope we as a body of supporters stay together, bobs board members will need to be an integral part of this because I don't think we can underestimate what is happening to us.

Why is the resignation of DW such an issue.

Nothing is going to change.
God I hate this league.

Because he has killed any football we had left in us, his negative football is pushing the fans away, 3100 home fans today is pathetic.

I love the Club, but it is being thoroughly disgraced by the present team/management and shamelessly destroyed from within by the "business", or at least the individuals who purport to be running a business. I know many people disagree and have posted arguments that "staying away changes nothing", but this situation can only be swiftly brought to a head by Checkatrade-level attendances. Until then, and maybe even then, there will be no change, no apology, no resignations, just B****Y-minded, spiteful spin and intrigue coupled with gutless performances on the field.

At least Turner got a grip on that petty cash though. I'd been having sleepless nights about that.

We moved into a stadium which was necessary but the money needed was never available. With Allen we were bleeding slowly now we are bleeding to death. The revenue needed just wasn't found it should have been so much easier but the loses financially is going to be the downfall of the club. I do believe administration is just around the corner. CFSS was formed to stop the club dying and vows made not to put the club into the situation again while this isn't Brown era I believe the club are dying and I don't know what can be done to stop it........answers on a postcard!!

Allen will do what he needs to do to try to protect his investment- I've said it before but a Wednesday fan told me "Allen won't lose his money"
He wants the ground. He sees the ground as an asset and a revenue stream with which he can make a return. He sees the club as a millstone now.
Stand by for him trying every trick in the book to gain the ground as a separate business entity from the club.
Selling the club and renting the ground to it, while keeping sales from concourse and corporate.
The recent smoke screen from Allen, Turner and most disappointing of all, Croot, just cements my suspicions.
Did they really think any would believe Turner has in fact achieved tighter financial controls? Or that our current levels of debts and this crisis are due to a £2000000 shortfall 6 years ago?
They must think the fans are all as dumb, or dumber, than Turner.

He's reduced the petty cash but increased the bank charges. I don't think it's dawned on him that it's cheaper to pay people from petty cash than from a bank account.

Thought this was a protest haiku for a moment. Maybe this is the way to go, daub some protest poetry around the ground (none of the players would be able to catch us if they saw us spray painting)

What would be gained if Danny resigned ?? Ok the club could find another manager who may be able to get better results out of the current squad, they would not have to pay him off I suppose.

What realistic chance is there of getting someone in ? Are there ambitious managers out there that keen to step into chaos , uncertainty and what can only be assumed to be a pretty poisonous atmosphere ? Imagine the interview , Yes manager to be we can offer you a very small budget, the possibility of non payment of any wages, a guarentee that any players likely to command a fee will be sold, a dwindling crowd who will get on your backs if you cant polish this t*rd of a squad we have. In addition you will have the full backing and assistance of our highly experienced CEO.

Manager to be "great where do I sign"

Unfortunately our club is in crisis with a power game being played out well beyond our control, lets just hope it ends as well as possible, my fear is though (with the exception of Darren Brown) all previous custodians of our club have been fans first and foremost and unlikely to sacrifice the club I dont see the same in the current "owner" I hope I am well and truely wrong.

There are only 92 football league managers jobs in the country. I guarantee if the job became available there would be a host of applicants willing to take it on. Of course there would be some of the same old tired faces but there would be some young, hungry coaches looking for their first league job as well I'm sure. I doubt they would do any worse.

If Wycombe can sign these players - and rthey get crowds of 3000 - 3700 then we could and should have gone for more physical types to take the weight off. Or is it a case of a one off?? Wilsons siginings have baffled me.

The little lad who got the hat trick was hardly a physical type. Still too much for Liddle though!

I totally agree there would be a number of applicants, I am not pro or anti Danny but i feel that all a change of manager would do at best is put a sticking plaster over a gaping wound. Again i hope iam wrong

Sometimes in works, sometimes it doesn't( Graham Alexander). Has Wilson been in this position before with a mediocre budget and struggling team at the bottom end of league 1. Most of his work has been at clubs with bigger budgets.

it worked last season, but doesn't lend itself well to longevity.
