The team is set up by Wilson to be cautious all the time. It invites pressure which ultimately ends up in the opposition cashing in.
The players we have are better than the last relegation team, they only got relegated with one match left.
The team are doing what they are being told to do by a manager who is causing the problems on the pitch with his tactics. That's why Wilson is the problem.

We have better players than the last relegation team?????
Really????
We had some players who were out of their depth then, we now have a few who are just out and out crap

You are trying to convince us then that we've a TEAM of world beaters who only need guidance ?

That's the way you come across.

I'd say he thinks the team is better than its actually doing atm, and a manager with a more positive outlook would only improve things, that wilsons negative tactics are holding us back.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Whose bright idea was it for Anderson to mark you know who ?

He had to be Evo's all day long

It took me all of thirty seconds to ask that. I assumed that Evatt would take him pre-match and then assumed the mistake would be corrected and it never was.

Should we send Fulton and Anderson back in January and recall Raglan??

They'll be gone in any case - we can't go on spending on extra wages. EBANKS our only hope up front as all loans will be gone.

I been watching Chesterfield since 1960 and that's the first time I have ever walked out early, it was a shocking performance with no passion from either players or management.

I've been watching town nearly 40 years and up to this season I'd only walked out of a home game early once in 38 years.
I've walked out early three times in the last two months

Well if that waster is our only hope there is no point in turning up until next season.

Yes, if we can because they have both been very disappointing and shown no improvement whatsoever.

However, Raglan can't get in Oxford's team so I'm not sure he is the answer. A fit Sam Hird would help (bear in mind Anderson looked better alongside Hird than he does at the side of Evatt) but I can't think Maguire could do much worse.

We will have another returnee in January - SEB and, even he, would struggle to perform much worse than what we had on show today.

Wilson might be to blame for the tactics but every single player is to blame for their own attitude and lack of pride when on the pitch. If they really do carry ambitions to play at a higher level, like they always like to say in interviews, then only they themselves can convince clubs to come in for them by giving their utmost in a professional manner.

Would Wilson even play seb? He'd rather play Beesley or German

Viewer discretion advised.

Contains scenes of defending, goalkeeping and marking which some viewers may find disturbing.

(Edit: I knew that was going to be bad, but we really are a complete shambles now).

He's not that good though. All the other times he's been here he has never been allowed the time & space he got today. Give a Sunday league player enough time and he'll play like a pro.

Edit: That was a little bit disrespectful to AA but what I mean is give him time, he'll do some damage.

I believe that when Hird has been playing in previous games he has been the one to take him and he hasn't been that good against us. Counter intuitive I know to put your smaller centre-back against him, but Hird has a brain and can play. That's easily the best I've ever seen Akinfenwa play against us and he has often been more or less ineffectual. He had nothing to trouble him today.

.....to be fair though, that Wrexham side were very very good. Off the top of my head I'm thinking Billy Ashcoft (did he score 3 or 4 on the day), Dave Smallman, keeper Dai Davies, Joey Jones, was Arfon Griffiths player manager?

If I wasn't a town fan and watched that I would find it hilarious; goal five with liddle in his prime sums him up as a footballer.
